Can Vivid Money B.V.’s selection of сrypto-asset, stocks, iBonds, or ETFs change?

Updated today

Yes, from time to time the list of instruments in your Treasury may change. This can happen for different reasons: a corporate action such as a merger or delisting, a trading platform or broker stopping support, regulatory restrictions, or Vivid Money B.V.’s own strategic and risk-management decisions. In some cases, external events such as market halts or technical failures may also require us to act.

If this happens, you will no longer be able to buy the affected instrument. Usually, you will still be able to sell your holdings. For fractional shares that are no longer supported, Vivid Money B.V. may sell the fractional part on your behalf, while whole shares remain under your control. For iBonds and ETFs, settlement will follow the rules of the specific fund.

Crypto-asset delistings

Delistings of crypto-assets can occur more often, and for slightly different reasons. A coin may be removed if:

  • Our liquidity provider, broker, exchange or custodian stops supporting it.

  • A new law, regulation, or direct order from a financial authority requires us to do so.

  • We decide to do so for strategic or risk‑management reasons.

  • An external event outside our control (e.g. blockchain failure, trading halt) makes continued support impossible.

  • A crucial service partnership ends, and the crypto-asset cannot be supported elsewhere.

When a crypto-asset is delisted, we will notify you by email with the date of removal. From that moment, you will not be able to buy or swap it anymore, but you will have a grace period to sell your holdings. After the deadline, any remaining positions will be sold automatically at market price and the proceeds credited to your money account. Please note that in exceptional situations — for example, if required by law or due to an unforeseeable technical issue — we may need to close positions without prior notice.
