Receiving International Transfers: Intermediary BIC

Updated yesterday

To receive an international transfer, some banks may require an intermediary BIC. This code depends on the currency being sent to your account—not the one your account is held in.

If the funds arrive in a different currency, don’t worry—they will be automatically converted into your account currency, and we will not charge any additional fees for this conversion.

You can find the correct intermediary BIC directly in your Vivid Money app—or check the full list below.

For EUR accounts with an NL IBAN, ES IBAN, or a LU IBAN (with BIC VVIDLUL2XXX), use the Intermediary BIC from this list:

  • TRWIUS34XXX
    → USD

  • TRWIBEB3XXX
→ EUR, BHD, BWP, KWD, MAD, OMR, QAR, RSD, SAR, TND, THB, TRY

  • TRWIGB2BXXX
→ AED, AUD, BGN, CAD, CHF, CNY, CZK, DKK, GBP, HKD, HUF, ILS, JPY, NOK, NZD, PLN, RON, SEK, SGD, UGX, ZAR

For currency (non-EUR) accounts with a DK IBAN, GB IBAN, or a LU IBAN (with BIC BCIRLULLXXX), use the Intermediary BIC from this list:

  • CITIGB2LXXX
→ AED, AUD, BGN, CAD, CHF, CNY, CZK, HKD, HUF, ILS, JPY, MXN, NOK, NZD, RON, SAR, TRY, USD, ZAR

  • SXPYDKKKXXX
    → DKK, SEK

  • BCIRLULLXXX
    → EUR

  • SAPYGB2LXXX
    → GBP

  • BPKOPLPWXXX
    → PLN

  • DBSSSGSGXXX
    → SGD

💡 Tip: Always match the intermediary BIC to the currency being sent, not your account’s base currency.

Note: DE IBANs cannot receive transfers from outside the EEA.
