How many money accounts can I create for my company, and how do I create them?

Depending on whether you are onboarded as a Freelancer or a General Business, the limit for a new money account will vary. If the higher tariff plans don't meet your business needs and you only require an additional money account, we offer this option for an additional fee.

Each money account created will have a unique German (DE) IBAN number, which you can use to deposit money, make and receive transfers, and obtain account statements specific to that account.

Here’s a brief overview of the tariff plans' benefits and the additional fees for any additional accounts beyond your free limit.

General Business Tariff

Applies also to freelancers with the following legal types: Germany (Eingetragene Kaufleute (e.K.)), France (Entreprise Individuelle (EI), Entreprise Individuelle à Responsabilité Limitée (EIRL)), Netherlands (Eenmanszaak), Italy (Impresa Individuale, Ente Privato Economico (EPE)), and Poland (Jednoosobowa Działalność Gospodarcza).

How to create a new money account?

You can create additional accounts directly from your business using the web interface or the Vivid Money App. Here’s how:

  1. Open your business account.

  2. Navigate to the ‘Accounts’ section on the sidebar. You’ll find the ‘New Account’ option at the top right corner of the web interface. In the Vivid Money App, scroll down and tap ‘New Account.’

  3. Set the name for your new account, and you’re all set!

Click on the newly created account to view all the details, including the unique DE IBAN number.
