As an investment company, Vivid Money B.V. requires all business customers using the Interest Account to have a Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) code. The LEI code is a unique digital identifier that promotes transparency and clarity in the global financial market, making it mandatory for legal entities involved in financial transactions.

As such, to continue using your Interest Account, you must enter your LEI code within 30 days after your first deposit to the Interest Account. You will see a reminder banner in your Interest Account section after your initial deposit. 

If you already have an LEI code, simply click the banner. A pop-up message will appear; select “My company already has an LEI code,” and you’ll be prompted to enter your company’s LEI code.

If you don’t have an LEI code, we can assist you in obtaining one. We partner with RapidLEI to provide LEI codes, which are valid for one year.

The process is straightforward: on the same banner, click “Continue” to give your consent for us to issue an LEI code for you, and we’ll initiate the process. The LEI code will be sent to the email addresses of all users with Admin and Owner roles in the business account within approximately two business weeks of your request.In the meantime, you can continue using your Interest Account as usual.

Only the Owner or Admin can issue or add an LEI code.

The LEI code is only required for Business Accounts. If you have a Freelancer Account, you can use the Interest Account without needing to provide an LEI code.

If you opened an Interest Account before October 8, 2024, you’ll see a banner prompting you to enter your LEI code only after the next deposit made after this date. At that point, you’ll have 30 days to enter an existing LEI code or request one directly through your business account. The 30-day period begins on the date of your first deposit after October 8, 2024.
