How do I set up my payment terminal?

The terminal is pre-configured and comes with a pre-installed SIM card.

Initial setup

All that you need to do is:

  1. In your Vivid account, click on the Get Paid tab

  2. Click on your payment terminal shipping order

  3. Click ‘I got the order’

  4. Click ‘Set up terminal’

    1. Then, if you are in the app, under Terminal settings, click ‘Set up Terminal’

  5. Here you will find a simple 6-step guide to get it ready to use!

Tipping setup

  1. After you have completed the initial setup above, select a terminal and inside the Payment terminal settings, click Tipping

  2. Here you can customise if you wish to enable tipping and, if yes, whether the customer can manually enter their own tip amount or selecting a pre-defined amount.
