PagoPA Payments

PagoPA is Italy’s national payment system for settling notices and payments issued by public administration bodies, such as tax authorities, municipalities, and other government institutions. These notices are commonly known as bollettini or avvisi di pagamento.

With Vivid Business, you can now pay your PagoPA notices directly from your account, without needing to use a separate bank or external portal.

Availability

  • Available to customers with an Italian-registered business account.

  • Both on Web-interface and the Vivid money app.

  • Owner, Admin and Assistant roles can only initiate PagoPA payments. A team member with the assigned role employee will not have access to the payments.

How to Pay a PagoPA Notice

  1. Go to the Payments tab in the Vivid Business app. In the action row at the top, tap the PagoPA button.

  2. Scan or Enter the Notice Details: The QR code scanner opens automatically using your device camera. Point it at the QR code on your PagoPA notice (bollettino or avviso di pagamento).

    1. If you prefer to enter the details manually, tap Enter Manually. You will need to provide two fields:

      1. Cod. Avviso: the 18-digit notice code

      2. Cod. Fiscale Ente: the 11-digit fiscal code of the issuing body

  3. Once both fields are filled in, tap Continue.

  4. Review the Payment Summary: The app retrieves the payment details and displays a summary screen showing:

    1. Source account: the account the payment will be debited from. In case you wish to change it, tap on it to select a different account.

    2. Payment section: amount to send, payment description, Cod. Avviso, and payment date.

    3. Recipient section: recipient name and Cod. Fiscale Ente

    4. Transfer details section: tap the arrow to expand. This shows the underlying SEPA transfer information.

  5. Confirm the Payment: Once you have reviewed all the details, tap Pay to authorise the payment.

  6. Download Your Confirmation: A success screen will appear confirming the payment, showing the amount, the recipient’s name, and the Cod. Avviso.

    1. From this screen, you can download a payment confirmation document.

Please note that confirmation will be available after processing. This may take up to 1 business day. Payments made on the weekend or public holidays are processed on the next business day.

How is my payment processed?

PagoPA payments are executed as SEPA transfers via Fabrik, Vivid’s payment partner. Fabrik processes the transfer and forwards the payment to the relevant PagoPA recipient. You can view the full transfer details by tapping the Transfer details section on the payment summary screen.

What should I do if my payment fails?

If your payment is not completed successfully, please check that the notice details you have entered are correct, and that the notice has not already been paid. If the issue persists, please contact our support team through the Vivid Business app or the web-interface.
