Registering your Payment Terminal with the Italian Revenue Agency

Starting January 1, 2026, the 2025 Budget Law (Art. 1, paragraphs 74-77, Law No. 207/2024), implemented through the Italian Revenue Agency’s Ruling of October 31, 2025 (prot. 424470), requires electronic pairing between Telematic Cash Registers (RT) and electronic payment instruments (POS). The connection is done through the Invoices and Receipts portal of the Italian Revenue Agency.
