How can I manage card payment links for my invoices?

Vandaag bijgewerkt

Setting up card payment links for the first time

To enable card payment links, you’ll first need to complete a quick onboarding process. During this step, you’ll be asked to provide information about the type of products or services you offer, as well as the typical payment amounts you expect to receive.

Once your application is approved, you’ll be able to easily enable or disable card payments each time you create a new invoice — giving you full control over how your customers pay.

You can check this article for more details.

Enabling card payment links for your invoices

  1. Create a new invoice:

    1. Go to the “Get Paid” menu in your web interface.

    2. Click “Create Invoice” and fill in the required details: customer information, items/services, pricing, and due date.

  2. Enable card payments

    1. In the “Payment Details” section, the “Card Payments” option should be toggled on automatically if your application for card payments has been approved.

    2. With this enabled, your invoice will allow your customer to pay by card.

  3. Send the payment link

    1. After issuing the invoice, you’ll have the option to share the card payment link with your customer directly.

    2. You can also find and copy payment links later by going to “Get Paid” → “Payment Links.”

  4. Mark the invoice as complete

    1. Once the customer has paid, go to “Get Paid” → “Payment Links,” select the invoice, and click “Mark as Complete.”

Disabling card payments for a specific invoice

If the card payment option is automatically toggled on and you don’t want to offer card payments for a particular invoice, simply toggle off the “Card Payments” switch in the “Payment Details” section before issuing the invoice.

Managing or disabling card payment links for issued invoices

  1. Access issued invoices
Go to “Get Paid” → “Payment Links.” Here, you’ll see a list of all the invoices you’ve created and issued.

  2. Manage the payment link
Select the invoice in question. On the right-hand side, you can:

    1. Click “Pause” to temporarily disable the payment link

    2. Click “Activate” to re-enable it later

  3. Permanently delete a payment link
Click the three dots next to “Mark as Complete” and select “Delete Payment Link.”

Please note: this action is permanent, and the payment link cannot be restored once deleted.
