The Invoice Recognition feature makes payments fast and hassle-free. Instead of manually entering recipient details, simply upload an invoice, and our system will automatically scan and populate fields like the recipient’s name and account information.
This feature is particularly useful for both SEPA and international transfers, as it reduces the need to request full account details from the recipient and minimizes the risk of manual errors or incorrect entries.
How do I upload an invoice?
This feature is available on both the Vivid Money mobile app and the web interface. To get started, simply follow these steps:
Web interface
From the Home page, you can upload the invoice by directly dragging and dropping it into the ‘Upload invoice’ widget into the designated area and our system will auto-fill the recipient details. Alternatively, go to the Payments tab, then click ‘Send Money’ and upload or drag the invoice file into the designated area, and our system will auto-fill the recipient details.
Review the populated details and edit them if necessary.
Choose the account to transfer from and confirm the transaction.
Mobile interface
Choose the Payments tab in the bottom menu
Upload a photo or file in the ‘Upload invoice’ section and our system will auto-fill the recipient details.
Alternatively, you can also choose the ‘Send Money’ option at the top
Review the populated details and edit them if necessary.
Choose the account to transfer from and confirm the transfer.
And that’s it! Depending on your user role, the transfer will either go for approval or get processed immediately.
Invoice criteria
To ensure smooth processing, invoices should meet the following criteria:
File type: PDF, PNG, JPEG, JPG, HEIF, .XML
File size: Less than 10 MB
Quantity: Only one invoice can be uploaded per transfer
Bill Inbox feature
You can also speed up invoicing with our Bill Inbox feature. Instead of manually uploading invoices yourself, just give the dedicated email address we set up for your company to your suppliers, creditors, or partners.
They can send invoices directly as attachments to this email, and our system will automatically recognise and upload them to your business account - including payment information, so they’re ready for you to check in the Bill Inbox section.
