Who can be onboarded for Vivid Founder Accounts?

Currently, we can only accept any individual or entity in the initial stages of setting up their business in Germany.

Limitation on countries

  • We can only accept applicants whose company is based in Germany.

  • The Applicant and Directors must possess an EEA ID document. The following ID documents are accepted:

    • Active EEA ID Card: Valid for citizens of EEA countries.

    • Active EEA Passport: Valid for citizens of EEA countries.

    • Active EEA Residence Permit: Valid for individuals residing in an EEA country, even if they are not citizens of an EEA country. For example, a Brazilian national with a residence permit in Germany can apply, even if they are not a citizen of an EEA country.

Limitation on legal entity types

There are currently only two types of legal entities that we can accept for the Founder Accounts:

  • GmbH i. G.

  • UG i. G.

Except for the two legal entity types above, we can’t accept other types of companies that have yet to register. Please consider our Freelancer Account if it meets your business needs. Here’s more information about it.

Limitation on business activities

We cannot onboard customers who have business in:

  • Activities of religious or political organizations

  • Adult entertainment and pornography

  • Auctions

  • Bearer Share Structures and Nominee Arrangements

  • Binary Options

  • Charitable and Non-Profit Organizations

  • Counterfeit, replica goods

  • Crowdfunding and Crowdlending

  • Cryptocurrency or tokens

  • Drugs, including CBD products and other pseudo-drugs

  • Extraction of crude petroleum and natural gas

  • Holding companies of private individuals

  • Gambling and Betting Activities, Casinos

  • Illegal Drug Trade

  • Marketplaces

  • Multi-Level Marketing (MLM)

  • Ponzi schemes, pyramid selling, etc.

  • Sexually-Related Illegal Services

  • Weapons and Defense Equipment for military use

  • Other Illegal Products/Services: While this list is not exhaustive, it includes any illegal products or services, such as human trafficking, political corruption, illegal wildlife trafficking, etc.

Some other business sectors may have limitations due to compliance regulations and our partnerships with financial institutions.
