Depending on your role, you may either adjust card limits directly or request an increase. Owners and Admins can modify the limits for all cards, including their own and those assigned to team members. Assistants and Employees, however, cannot change limits themselves but can submit a request for a limit adjustment from the owner or admin through the Cards section.
Sending a request
Vivid App:
Select your card from the card section
Scroll down to “Remaining Limits”
Click on “Request Change”
You can then adjust the limits you want
You also have the option to include the reason for your request.
Click on “Send Request”
After submitting your request, you will see a confirmation banner indicating that it has been sent. If there is a delay in review, you can choose to send a reminder or cancel the request at any time. To do so, you will need to:
Select the card from the card section.
Scroll down to “Remaining Limits”
You will see a banner indicating your request.
Click on the banner, you will be given the option to either send a reminder or cancel the request.
Please note that this request is sent directly to the account Owner or Admin, not to Vivid Money. In addition to that, card limits cannot exceed the predefined default limits set for card usage. For more information on default limits, go here
Approving a Request
If a team member requests a limit increase, you will receive a notification in the app. Additionally, a banner will appear in the Cards section, allowing you to review and manage the request.
Click on the notification or the banner
Click on “Approve” or “Reject”
If you would like to adjust your own limits, open the relevant card in the Cards section. From there, you can either go to Remaining Limits and tap the pencil icon in the top-right corner, or access the Spending Control section. Both options allow you to edit your card limits quickly and easily.
